It's official ladies...my heart is broken...and for once I'm not being overly dramatic about my relationship status (or lack of it!).
A week ago, at about 3am, I had a rather scary ambulance trip followed by a week of ECG's, breathing equipment and needles. I'm now back at home, very bored (you know that phrase...the mind is willing but the body's not?!), very dizzy, fluttery heart-ed and tired and signed off work for another week.
The good news is that whilst I am avoiding caffeine and eating very little, I have been drinking lots and lots of fresh ginger tea! :)

Goodness, how terrifying for you. What was the problem, not an actual heart attack I hope? Glad you're ok and recuperating at home. x
ReplyDeleteHoly C-rap Batman! You don't like the quiet life do you! Big hugs, hope all tests come back definitively unexciting and that you rest up and the only excitement comes from admiring your lovely house xo

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! I think you should have some handwork to do while lying in bed or on the couch. Or reading, or something that you never have time to do usually! Just rest and get better. By the way, how's the tea? I have never tried it.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Julie

ReplyDeleteGosh, how horrid. hope you feel better soon. x
ReplyDeleteI hope you are ok. Caffeine can trigger things, as can stress, if they ruled other things out. Take it easy and try and relax, though I know it is easier said than done. Keep us posted. Thinking of you. Did they check your thyroid. I am sure they will have, as that can make the heart race sometimes. xxx
ReplyDeleteThat's horrid for you, Jon had a similar scare a few years back and was told to avoid caffeine. Fortunately he's back on the coffee and has no recurring incidences, hopefully it'll be the same for you.x
