Living Room before & after....again!

Okay, so I know I said I'd be back with a proper post soon, but a few of you asked about things in my living room so I thought I'd show the true 'before' and 'after' with a few more details about items in the room!

The photograph on the left was taken on the day we moved in back in July 2010. A nice big pub carpet shot just for Kandipandi!

Paint - 'Egyptian Cotton', Dulux
Wallpaper - 'Hawthorn Leaf', Laura Ashley
Flooring - Magnet Trade (I would avoid this like the plague...cheap, nasty flooring that split and lifted in several places just a couple of weeks after it was laid and Magnet have done nothing about it!!)
Sofa - Laura Ashley, upholstered in 'Fleur, duck egg'
Mirror - 'Constellation' mirror, Laura Ashley (currently half price!)
Fireplace - Brand new from a company on eBay
Fire surround - reclaimed from another house being refurbished, painted in Farrow & Ball 'Dimity' eggshell
Throw (on back of sofa) - Tesco
Lighting - 'Inspire' chandelier, Argos
Painting (just seen on right) - PoWWow Eco Arts (those of you familiar with Platt Fields in Manchester, may recognise the artist's work!)
Fire guard - car boot sale
Rug - Ikea

I think that's everything covered! Hope that helps those of you who were interested. A lot of the things in the room were bought in the sale or second hand...it's always worth a hunt around before you buy!!
