New Starts

I took photos of all my favourite things from today, and it's just occured to me that they all seem to be around the 'new start' theme! And I can't think of anything lovelier to share with you all on such a grey day.

Yesterday was a gloriously sunny, 'windows open' kind of day and it really felt like Spring was on the way - especially when I noticed one of my little tea cup crocuses had flowered!

Then my new ring from Novica arrived (super quickly!) - I think it looks fab stacked with my vintage jade ring and I'm loving the 'Hope' braille message that is a constant reminder of my own new start.

And how's this for a 'new start' - a brand new little life! My lovely friend let me have a play and do my first ever bump painting on her. I can't take credit for the design as it was just a copy of one I found on google, but it was really good fun and so cute to see how her baby reacted to the different brush strokes. Definitely going to be a ticklish one!

PS. I'm not being paid for this post, but the lovely people over at Novica have asked if I'd put a couple of links on to show you some more of their beautiful products. As I really like the ethos behind the company (it's a global platform for artists around the world - have a look on their info page). I spent a lot of time eyeing up the amber earrings and silk shawls, so more than happy to share those with you all too!

  2. That bump is gorgeous you clever thing! From your blog title and the picture I thought, oh that's why her profile pic was taken from the back, then I realised it's not your bump!
I do like that new ring, how unusual and special.
